Uluru 101: Raising Self-Directed Learners | An Introduction for Parents

🗓 May 12, 2026 from 7:00-7:30 PM EST

Homework battles. Half-finished projects. “I forgot.” Most students aren’t struggling because they lack intelligence — they’re struggling because they haven’t yet developed the executive function skills or unlocked the motivation needed to manage complex academic demands.

Uluru is an app designed to help students build those skills in real time.

In this live session, we’ll walk you through how Uluru supports students from awareness to follow-through. You’ll see how assignments automatically appear in one place, how larger projects are broken into manageable steps, and how students are guided to estimate their time and build a realistic study plan that fits their actual lives.

You’ll also learn how Uluru teaches structured thinking processes that strengthen prioritization, preparation, and ownership over time.

We’ll be joined by parent ambassador Ann Marie Denning, who will share practical, real-world strategies parents can use to reduce tension and anxiety around schoolwork at home. You’ll leave not only understanding how Uluru works, but with concrete ways to create calmer, more productive homework conversations.
